Biography
Mark Sweeney has been working in various aspects of commercial and residential real estate in New York for over a decade. His experience ranges from construction supervision and project management to operational property management. He has worked on LEED certified buildings from the ground up as well as retro-fit assignments.
His experience with condo and co-op boards allows for valuable insight in navigating applications for board approval. He has a keen understanding of building operations and budgets which can be an asset for any buyer trying to determine the financial stability of a property either for purchase as an investment, or primary residence. Throughout his tenure, he has worked on several notable buildings including The Helena, The Visionaire, 170 End Avenue, 455 Central Park West, The Metropolitan Tower and 101 Warren Street.
Prior to coming to New York, Mr. Sweeney worked on real estate projects domestically in California and Oregon and internationally with exposure in Brazil, Canada, Israel, and Mexico. Recently, Mr. Sweeney has teamed up with other real estate professionals to form Real Estate Investment Management Group, a full service real estate company which includes Demsker Realty as the asset analyst and broker for the entity.
